Testing Gauges

I tried adding gauges from the “Gauges Aircraft” sample to a balloon. Available at https://eggman28.itch.io/hot-air-balloons No idea if it’s realistic or useful but it looks cooler than the static dials that were on it before 🙂 What the initial testing looked like when I forgot to hide the fuselage of the sample Gauge Aircraft 🙂

F22 – Upgrade

About a month ago we launched the F22 on the FlightSim Squadron Aircraft page which was my first attempt at creating my favourite jet fighter and putting to the test all that I had learnt at the time around creating landing gears within the MSFS Software Development Kit (SDK). Antonov AN-12

We found this amazing model of the Antonov AN-12 but had to update it to close the door… although it might have made for some interesting flights with it open otherwise 🙂 Available here – https://flightsim-squadron.itch.io/vintage Will need to spend some more effort to animate the props, landing gear but have added the static version…

A6M2 Zero

With the recent release of our new Season Pass, one of the key WW2 Fighters is the A6M2 Zero. This is an iconic plane and we wanted to bring it into the squadron however it has one challenge from our perspective that is more difficult to realise than we initially thought, this is the angle…

F-14 – Building the icon

Building the F-14 has been quite a challenge. This aircraft has multiple moving parts which in turn makes it such an awesome aircraft to look at, but a crazy one to do it justice. The most amazing feature about it are its swing arms where it can change angle based on the pilot preference. Additional…
