I started looking at the “Sample Aircraft” project that came with the SDK and I realized that the models provided were in gltF format and modifiable in Blender.
I tried overlaying other aircraft models onto it, removed the sample aircraft provided, installed the Blender MSFS plugin, exported the model and compiled the project.

And I was blown away when I first saw that X-Wing load into the game, and was flyable ….
Sure it flew with the flight dynamics of the single engine prop plane config that was part of the sample aircraft, including the sounds but I was blown away nevertheless 🙂
